Millard thinks that many high schoolers feel “heightened” emotions and spend a lot of time trying to find their fit. So, his advice to high schoolers is don’t be afraid to try new things, but also don’t try to force yourself into a group that won’t support who you are.
Things can also ring true to advisors, because they try to be everything to everybody many times, so they need to also try and find a core group of people and align with their vision.
